NCBA BANK UGANDA ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF MARK MUYOBO AS THE ACTING MANAGING DIRECTOR

December 15th, 2021: NCBA Bank Uganda Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Mark Muyobo as the Acting Managing Director effective December 16, 2021. This follows NCBA Group’s appointment
of Mr. Anthony Ndegwa to Director, Regional Business Development, and his subsequent resignation as Managing Director, NCBA Bank Uganda. These changes have the requisite regulatory approval from
Bank of Uganda.

Mark holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, the United Kingdom, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Ndejje University, an Advanced Diploma in Corporate Lending from IFS School of Finance, London and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). Mark is also a graduate of the Sunwords Fast Forward Leadership
program.

Mark has over 20 years of experience in the Financial and Audit Services sector. At NCBA, he has been serving as the Executive Director, Corporate Banking and Structured Solutions, since July 2020, having
served as the Executive Director of NC Bank Uganda Limited from September 2018.

NCBA Bank Uganda was formed out of the merger of NC Bank Uganda and CBA Uganda in June 2020. The merged bank is a market leader in Corporate and Digital banking.
